impaired empathIt’s very common for an Impaired Empath to have high levels of anxiety.  Actually, a fearful Empath might live their whole lives with anxiety/fear but they just figured that’s how life was supposed to be.

Empath can experience a weird sort of diffused fear (meaning it’s not related to something specific either because:

1) They are picking up the fear of the people around them.  Fear is VERY common and you are likely exposed to other people’s fear on a daily basis.

What you can do: Practice the techniques in the Empath Survival Program, EVERY DAY! Technique 1 is especially useful to help you you can separate what is yours and what is theirs.

2) Empath can experience the core fear of being “overwhelmed” or getting “lost” in the wave of emotions they pick up from other people. This can feel like you are loosing your identity.  This particular fear is common in Empath who have just realized what is going on and are getting struck by the sheer magnitude of it.

What do you can do: Being able to rediscover who *YOU* are is essential.  Having time by yourself where you can make decisions without being affected by others will gently heal this fear.  What do you like?  Taking a bath?  Chocolate?  The beach?  The more you can focus on what makes you happy, the less you will be affected by this fear :)
