Lesson 1:  Intuition in Stealth Mode

Unless you're one of the extremely luckily people who works in a company where every one talks openly about using their intuition, you've probably shied away from even mentioning that word. Although the concept of gaining significant momentum in businesses across the globe, the number of corporate culture that fearlessly embrace intuition are still relatively small.

Fortunately, you don't have to say anything about it in order to leverage your intuition at work! While at work, you can use your intuition in Stealth Mode where you just seem to be making the right decisions even though nobody really knows how you do it! In fact, people will eventually come to you, asking what is your secret for being so successful. So there's no need to push that concept onto them. Phew! What a relief!

All the exercises you will find here are designed to be completed without needing the approval or acknowledgment of anyone at work. Of course, if you want to talk about intuition, I am 100% behind you! But for many people, this conversation topic just leads to awkward silences with little benefits.

One of the fundamental concept in the Work Intuition Program is that the intuitive and rational thought process are collaborative, not competitive. Using your intuition at work does NOT require scary leaps of faith where you blindly follow your "guts". On the contrary, we will pay special attention to specific techniques to back up your intuition with concrete rationale.

Learning to use your intuition on your own, by trial and error, is like jumping in the middle of a cold, dark lake, not knowing how deep in goes or if you'll know how to swim. The Work Intuition Program is more like a slow immersion where we'll get your feet wet first and move on to the deepest part of the lake only when you're comfortable and confident that you can do this successfully.


Intuitive Practice

With each new lesson, you will also find concrete exercises in the Intuitive Practice section that are designed to help you develop and train your intuitive skills. These exercises are really important which is why you will get a full week of practice for each of them!

The exercises can include videos to watch, targeted practice sessions, self-evaluations, energy work, visualizations, Intuitive Affirmations© and so much more! This program is self-paced, so you simply complete the exercise when you feel inspired to do so.

Don't worry, we'll start off with some fairly easy homework!
    • Use a grounding visualization: Visualization is a great way to ask your mind to do something. You just send it an image of what you want and let it take care of all the details. To visualize grounding, just close you eyes imagine that you are growing roots from the bottom of your feet. See the roots as reaching deeper into the earth until you feel connected to the ground.
    • Take three deep breaths: We tend to breathe in our upper chest, especially when we are stressed. A deep breath should fill up your upper chest and your belly. Taking several deep breaths pause the flow of your thoughts and makes it easier to hear your intuition.
    • Wash your hands: Throughout the day, you might be picking up energy from people or objects as you touch them. This foreign energy can create a sort of noise in your energy field and make you more distractible. Washing your hands is a signal to your unconscious mind to clear up energy that is not yours.
    • Physical Activity: Anything that brings your awareness to your body is inherently grounding. A brisk walk or run will help you focus what is going on within your body and clear your mind for intuitive insights. You can also just stretch your body or have fun with a few jumping jacks!
    • Eating: This is a delicious way to stay grounded as long as you pay attention to the food you are eating (remember, it's all about awareness!). Both eating and digesting have grounding effects, so you can enjoy the grounding benefits of this technique for a long time.
  1. In this exercise, we are using EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) which is a very powerful way to reprogram your brain. It combines positive affirmations with tapping on key acupuncture points to relax the body. Your mind is more receptive to new, positive thought patterns when your body is relaxed! This tapping action also stimulated important energy centers such as the 6th Chakra - the center of Intuition!

    In my work with EFT, I use Intuitive Affirmations to make it easier for the mind to accept the new thought pattern.  We start with statements that the mind can easily accept while building up towards stronger ones.  Don't worry if none of this means much to you right now.
