I was brought to tears by Misuchi’s blog post about being a moderator on the Empath Community web site.
I feel she captured not only the struggle of it all but also the reasons why we do it anyway.

Misuchi knows that I have personally wanted to walk away from this site myself after being caught in a flaming war of criticism for wanting to keep this site focused and uplifting. I survived because of her and the supportive emails I received from a handful of members.

It happened again recently but this time I had a lot more supporters which made a world of difference to me. Thank you to all who have sent us an email or a virtual hug by thinking of us.

Moderators are breathing, feeling, human beings. Not only that but we’re Empaths.
We can feel it all, the good and the bad…
