The better it gets…
For a long time I heard Abraham (Abraham-Hicks.com) say: "The better it gets, the better it gets." That would get on my nerves so badly…Because I was thinking: "I don’t need to be ecstatic, I just want to be a little happier".
And yet that’s exactly how it happened. As I persisted to focus on feeling better and following my intuition, things got better and better. I don’t think I even noticed when I started considering myself as a "happy person". The kind of people that use to get on my nerve. But now that I see it from over here, it all makes sense…and you never go back on the other side!
Even being angry or pessimist feels ok. I used to get so angry that I was angry. I would beat up on myself for having such "lowly" emotions. Not realizing that the poor emotions were just trying to show me the way to feel better. It was like bread crumbs. But talking bread crumbs. Well, sometimes screaming bread crumbs. They’d say: "Follow us, we know where to go to feel better!"
Of course, I ignored them. Who’d believe a talking bread crumb anyway. That’s silly. Yet, in times, after many many many migraines, I finally got it. When I listen to anger, I feel better. Because it talks about movig away from what I don’t want, and towards what I do want.
I cannot tell you how excited I am to think that my 3 year old son is growing up knowing all this. He knows he can heal his body like I do. He knows it’s ok to feel angry, especially when you know what to do with it. He knows he creates with his thoughts (you should see the AMAZING day care provider he created for himself!). It makes me wonder what kind of world he will live in, knowing all this as soon as he learned to talk…
Of course, we all know it as well. We just forget that we know. We forget that well being is our natural state of life. So we get angry and hate ourselves for it, thus persisting the offending situation/person/thought. Sometime I wonder, can it be this simple? Well, looks like it
