From Engineer to Professional Intuitive…

June 1st, 2007

I spent most of my adult life as a blissfully ignorant rational being:   I didn’t know about intuition, Law of Attraction or the process of Manifestation.  I was bobbing along life, happy when things were good and miserable when they weren’t.  I believed in randomness and luck.  And when I’d get one of those excruciating migraines, I’d take a couple of beers with a nice double dose of Excedrin.

Little did I know that my world was about to be turned upside down by a simple event: becoming pregnant.

Having a little one in your belly has an interesting side effect for me mommy: for 9 months, your energy field is twice as big (yours and the baby’s).  Which means that you have more available energy for things that were always at the bottom of the priority list.

For me, this rush of energy meant 2 things:
1) For the only time in my life, I had a VERY clean house.
2) I woke up one morning with an intuitive gift beyond my own understanding.  I could literally read people’s mind and, a nice bonus, I knew exactly how to help them.

Although this sounds kinda cool, it turned into a nightmare.  First, no one believed me.  And who could blame them.  I was leading the pack by being the worst skeptic of all.  But like the good scientist I am, I could not deny (well, at least I could not deny it for very long) the overwhelming quantity of EVIDENCE.

It started by knowing how to heal physical symptoms.  My own migraines were healed.  I was healing any willing body that walked my way.    Then it moved into healing the mind.  I had studied to be a psychologist for 8 years (before I turned to Software Engineering), so it was a funny twist of event when I opened up a practice for Intuitive Counseling!  But client after client would come in confused, angry, depressed or panicked and come out feeling better.  Not only that, they would feel better RIGHT AWAY.

One thing I had learned in psychology was that change was long and painful.  Well, I was delighted to throw that belief out the window!  Now change was quick and easy.  And not just little changes, such as feeling better about your hair color.  But big huge changes such as having the first time ever peaceful move from one city to another or doubling a stock market port-folio in less than 60 days.

And as I contemplate my life now, I think: Can it really be this EASY?  Can Intuition really lead us to all the things that we once thought to be totally out of our reach?  And with enough compelling EVIDENCE, you start to believe: Yes, it can be.

In love,
