I have been reasonably healthy all my life. Like everyone else, I had little annoying symptoms, such as adult acne,
eczema, seasonal allergies, etc. But my nemesis was migraines. I don’t remember a time when I did not have them. They
would always come during exams, or when I was especially stressed. But they would also come and go in a seemingly
random fashion. One of my priorities when I finally got settled was to get to the bottom of this issue.
So I undertook an intensive multi-approach self care treatment. I did massages, acupuncture, tai chi, exercise,
orthopedic pillows, dietary changes, naturopathic treatments, chiropractic adjustments, counseling, ergonomic office chair,
vitamin supplements, fasting cleanses, Reiki, allergy treatments, and probably more that I don’t even remember. But nothing
brought lasting relief. Every month, I would have at least four episodes that would bring me down and totally incapacitate me.
Although my life was seemingly getting better and better, I was getting more and more frustrated and distressed by my failure
to relieve this debilitating pain. To me, this was a simple physical matter that should have been resolved by a systematic
research for the best treatment!
When I first heard of Energy Healing, I was approaching it with my usual skepticism and pessimism. You don’t go through
twenty-five years of chronic pain without building a thick protective wall against people who want to sell you something that will
“make it all better”. But I was willing to try anything at least once. After my first session of Energy Healing, I went
without a migraine for two months. The shoulder pain that I had been experiencing as a side effect to the migraines was also gone.
My terrible seasonal allergies disappeared instantly. I was simply blown away. I had never seen anything that gave me such immediate
and lasting results.
Being the inquiring mind type, I instantly started to wonder if I could do this myself. I have spent ten years in school,
accumulating three college degrees and years of scientific research experience. So I wanted to know exactly how it worked.
The person who had performed it on me briefly described it and told me where to get trained. From then on, my life totally changed.
I picked up the technique like if it were second nature to me. I started working on myself constantly. Then I looked for family
members and friends to work on. My rate of success was simply astonishing.
After a few years of working as a healer, I felt a strong call to go see John of God, in Brazil. He's an amazing spiritual healer
who offers all his work for free. I had a life changing experience when I went there. My vision is to have community based free
healing center throughout the US... That's how the Northwest Energy Healing Center was born!
